Not everything has a place in the museum One of the hardest things the National Model Aviation Museum staff have to do is to determine which aeromodeling artifact deserves a place in its growing collection. For those who have loved their airplane, rotorcraft or radio system, it can be disheartening to discover that the museum already has one, or that it doesn't quite reflect the museum's acquisition objectives, overseen by a committee of volunteers. Although the museum staff would love to accept everything, due to limited space and resources, it simply can't handle multiple duplicates of objects, or those outside of its collections scope. Go to "read more" below to learn more about this process and which aircraft are particularly sought after. Also, check out the museum's new winter hours.
